Ieva Gaidulis has been working with people in the field of communication for over 25 years. She began giving communication skills workshops in 1981 in Prince George, Canada and has since been developing her skills and experience in both the public and private sectors.
Ieva worked at N Vision Learning Solutions from 1999 - 2007 as a training consultant for business communication skills. She has led intercultural communication workshops, team building and train-the-trainer workshops and is a member of SIETAR, the society for intercultural education, training and research.
Joining Siemens in 1999 she has led and developed materials for most of the Siemens Learning Campus Business Languages seminars/ products. Currently she is repsonsible for the Business English standard levels program at Siemens Learning Campus in Munich, Germany. She has her own company: www.transform-communication.com
She is also co-founder of a men’s & women’s network for leadership: www.gender-in-balance.com which supports the principle of each individual taking personal responsibility for their life by living out their creative potential both in their private and public areas of life. She works together with other colleagues offering trainings, coaching, and public events.
Professional/ Personal Background:
From 1981 until her move from her birth place, Toronto, Canada to Germany in 1991 Ieva worked for public institutions and centres as a workshop leader in communication skills, as a crisis intervention counsellor, and psychiatric nurse-counsellor in one-to-one and group settings.
After meeting her husband while travelling in Asia, she moved to Hamburg, Germany and began her career as a communication skills trainer in the private sector.
Ieva has travelled and lived in many places in the world. Learning about other cultures as well as studying the psychology and deeper inner aspects of the human being has been a passion of Ieva’s and motivating factor in most of her undertakings.
Her ability to take risks and adventure into the unknown, has given her the skills needed for personal mastery and a depth of perception and experience needed to cope with today’s social, dynamic and emerging complexity.
